The Department of Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology has an outstanding opportunity for an Administrative Assistant 2 (NE S SEIU 925 Non Supv)to join their team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FISCAL TASKS
Entry of expense reports into Workday for approval.
Credit card (ProCard) expense entry into Workday and the FileMaker database.
Assist with other fiscal data entry or reconciliation tasks.PRODUCT SUPPORT
Use an automated marketing platform (Marketo) to create and send newsletters, advertisements, and event invitations.
Collection and organization of content for DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology) newsletters and other publications.
Assist with writing articles about DO-IT for the newsletters and creating content for publications for the DO-IT program and grants.
Manage and post calendar events using Trumba and Outlook.
Assist with records management and other publication duties as assigned for all products.OFFICE SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE
Answer phones, organize office materials, gather, and send physical mail. Assist in keeping equipment in good working condition and the office area neat and clean. Assist staff with miscellaneous tasks as directed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires High School/ GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Ability to be self-motivated in completing work and meeting deadlines.
Attention to detail, especially accuracy in data entry.
Computer skills using Mac and Microsoft Office 365 products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams). DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Partial completion of a college degree.
Ability to proofread and edit documents with accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work with diverse clientele.
Prior work experience.
