Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to become part of our team. This role is based in Seattle, Washington, and will involve managing accounts payable, analyzing workflow processes, and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, all within our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the accounts payable for different entities and vendors with accuracy and efficiency.

• Establish and nurture relationships with new vendors while maintaining existing ones.

• Ensure all bills and payroll are settled in a timely and accurate manner, strictly adhering to department procedures.

• Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.

• Process due invoices for payments promptly.

• Conduct regular analysis of workflow processes and suggest improvements when necessary.

• Maintain account books by processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts.

• Manage the processing of 1099 forms.

• Use accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable.

• Code invoices accurately for data entry.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 + discretionary bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships.

• Skill in account reconciliation.

• Experience with invoice processing.

• Knowledge of coding invoices.

• Familiarity with data entry tasks.

• Ability to conduct workflow analysis.

• Experience in handling invoice payments.

• Proficiency in account maintenance tasks.

• Knowledge of Form 1099.
