Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Warehouse Associates are responsible for breaking down express freight and rebuilding it into organized stacks on a pallet. This role involves moving materials around the warehouse, primarily dealing with light packages for household consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Break down express freight and rebuild into organized stacks on pallets.

  • Move materials around the warehouse.

  • Climb into large metal ULDs to remove packages.

  • Use hand scanners to process packages.

  • Stack boxes within larger boxes according to a specific procedure.

  • Unload ULDs by releasing straps and removing assorted boxes.

  • Use or assist with the use of pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials to the loading dock area.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience.

  • Experience using hand scanners, skids, and packaging materials like tape and cardboard.

  • Ability to obtain a SIDA badge (requires ORIGINAL/NON COPY documentation such as a US Passport or foreign passport with I-94 or EA, and valid state driver’s license or ID).

  • Must have steel-toe boots.

  • Eligibility for SIDA badge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ramp experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment

The work is conducted inside an air cargo warehouse at Seatac Airport.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SeaTac, Washington.
