Medical Technologist
Full-time, Days (7 am - 3:30 pm) - RSWH
Up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology is required .
Requires graduation from an accredited Medical Technology program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Laboratory training through an accredited laboratory school is preferred.
One to two years experience in a generalist role is preferred.
Will consider candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field (biological or chemical sciences) and who are eligible for certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP).
About the Job:
Performs manual and automated routine blood tests.
Prepares specimens for microscope examination.
Operates state of the art laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
