Gerrity's Supermarkets Intake Worker in Scranton, Pennsylvania
Performs Client Intake applications for weatherization. Intake worker determines income eligibility, interviews clients, evaluates their eligibility and ensures compliance with funding sources. Receives and responds to phone and in-office inquiries from prospective clients, social services and the general public regarding program eligibility. Acts as a liason between clients, fuel vendors/utility and other agencies. Screens prospective clients, completes program applications for clients, evaluates household incomes. Assists clients in resolving debt to utility companies.
Required knowledge of local human service agencies, ACE programs and operations is a plus, but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, general public, and utility companies. Able to evaluate income eligibility and complete required mathematical computations. Ability to use microsoft office, google docs, and learn database programs.
