Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Banking Operations Specialist job opportunity located in Scranton, PA

Pay rate: $ 20.79/HR

Shift: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the day-to-day processing and releasing of electronic payment instructions.

• Functions include administering defined procedures, analysis and exception processing.

• May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/services.

• Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes.

• Will involve the processing of USD, FX, and Same Day Return processing.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Keyboard skills required

• Good team player, enthusiastic, flexible and committed

• Ability to prioritize, use own initiative and be flexible

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and navigate change and prioritize daily

• Proactive approach to problem resolution

• Able to work weekends and overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Wire experience

• Financial industry experience

• Accounting experience

• Data entry experience
