Position Summary The Pro gram Manager (PM) Sr Manager is responsible for providing program/project oversight, day-to-day management, leadership, direction, and administration across the full project lifecycle (team formation, planning, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and warranty support). The PM Sr Manage r, requiring minimal supervision, will be responsible for effectively managing team/stakeholder expectations and engagement through clear communication of roles and responsibilities and regular status updates. The PM Sr Manager could oversee the work of other Project Managers and be responsible for providing timely , written feedback on project and performance reviews.

ACCOUNTABILITY: Management of assigned projects including team formation and management, plan creation (scope, schedule, and budget), and project execution. Deliver all assigned projects in full compliance with CVS Health standards and as documented in formal project requirements, on-time, on-budget, and with high quality. Skilled delegation and leadership by example to help CVS Health develop our people to their full potential while delivering top performance. Ensuring all project needs are met through proactive engagement of support teams and in compliance with PM process standards. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead large, cross-organizational programs and projects with high visibility and critical timelines.

  • Drive successful delivery of all programs and projects on time, within scope, within budget, and in full compliance of CVS Health requirements

  • Resolve complex business issues / risks and understand when to escalate to ensure resolution

  • Define and document project scope, ensuring all relevant SME’s are engaged to produce competent and comprehensive requirements

  • Work with business users and owners to understand their needs and translate into final project deliverables

  • Produce a detailed project plan and monitor and control activities to remain on plan

  • Produce regular and thorough stakeholder communications

  • Manage resource availability, allocation, and project financials where applicable

  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost

  • Ensure required project artifacts are completed and stored in the project repository

  • Helps on board and mentor new PMs

  • Identifies and implements process improvements related to the project management standards for the team

Required Qualifications

  • 7 + years successful Program/Project Management of medium to large scale programs and projects.

  • Strong Microsoft O365 (including MS Project) skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • · Proven ability to lead, influence and inspire cross-functional teams without formal authority, at all levels of a matrixed organization

    · Ability to create and deliver presentations to key stakeholders that effectively communicate key findings, and summarize insights and implications to communication strategies.

    · Extensive knowledge of project and program management processes, tools, templates and management techniques, especially agile methodology and mindset

    · Expertise with Project Management Tools (ex. Airtable, Smartsheet, Rally, Jira, MS Project, Asana, etc.) as well as advanced skills with other MS Office programs.

    · Experience deriving actionable insights

    · Self-starter with strong sense of accountability

    · Experience solving complex business problems and driving projects from strategy to execution

    · Experience working cross-functionally to develop successful plans in an environment of fast growth, ambiguity, and shifting priorities

    · E xperience driving for results working collaboratively, managing multiple activities at once, and ensuring clear communication

  • Education Bachelor's degree preferred; will consider comparable work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $166,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
