Position Summary

As a Senior Analyst, you will be part of the Client Services (PBM) Quality team. This team is engaged across multiple functions including the Testing Center of Excellence, with particular emphasis on testing the plan benefit configuration and ensuring that the testing results are in alignment with the benefit requirements. The position involves solving technical and business problems, process improvement, and increasing automation within the team. You will have the opportunity to use your technical and logical skills to automate existing manual business processes to increase innovation, efficiencies, and resource productivity. You will also work closely with internal and external partners on other key strategic initiatives including analysis of large data sets for metrics reporting and extrapolating and analyzing adjudication-related transactions at scale for various purposes. Through this, you will develop a thorough understanding of the business and the associated testing requirements needed annually to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and that the delivered solution meets technical specifications and design requirements.

Your main responsibilities will include Develop and write rules for Query Test Automation System and Claims Test Automation System. You will work in a unique, integrated model where you will Deploys ODM rules in application container and deploy in in-house or web-based UAT and Prod environments and Translate complex rules in Business Understandable language and create proper verbalization of all class, method and attributes (BOM refactoring). To do this, you should have significant experience in drafting highly detailed and technical test scripts. In addition, you will collaborate with other members of the Client Services Quality team to ensure that all manual testing efforts are maintained, if not exceeded, by the outputs developed through the new automated platform.

As part of the team, you will also work with systems such as RxClaim (AS400), Salesforce, SQL server, and Tableau including developing and executing excel-based macros for testing purposes, leveraging APIs for data transfer between systems, and analyzing large datasets for various levels of reporting. In addition, you should be fluent in creating programs and jobs within AS400, developing and executing complex queries within SQL server, and visualizing large data sets through Tableau or other business intelligence tools. Finally, you will be responsible for identifying and assigning roles to other team members, setting project goals, managing the project plan, and ensuring optimum utilization of both technical and human resources.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience creating and executing complex SQL queries to analyze large, disparate data sets

  • 2+ years of experience creating executive-level data visualizations in Tableau or Microsoft Power BI

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably supporting large client implementations

  • Desire to develop industry-specific technology solutions based on client and business unit needs

  • Proven track record of working directly with business partners to understand workflow and analytic requirements, present findings and offer solutions

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot testing issues (e.g., test data, code functionality, workflow management) and potential impacts.

  • Experience working directly with other testing resources, and business and IT counterparts to design and deliver sound business solutions and system functionality

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands on experience in PBM business

  • 2+ years of experience in testing benefit configuration

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
