A SEIT SDA O&I/GMI I&T Engineer job opportunity is open with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. As a systems/software I&T engineer for SDA O&I/GMI program, you"ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field with 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
Responsible for Satellite and Ground Satellite communications
Responsible for Ground Operations
Perform Test automation
Perform Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a US Citizen
Department of Defense Secret Security must be obtainable within reasonable time
Bachelor"s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field with 8+ years of job-related experience OR
Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Satellite communications knowledge
Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
Ground operations experience
Agile experience preferred.
DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools: AWS, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker,
Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
CI/CD pipeline development knowledge
Test automation experience
Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience
Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
