Responsibilities Job Summary The Project Specialist is responsible for providing administrative oversight and coordination of activities and resources in support of operational programs and contributes directly to the completion of goals and initiatives that drive development, integration and growth of assigned programs and/or service lines. Works with key stakeholders to initiate and execute small/low risk projects to meet customer expectations and deadlines; promoting effective communication across all levels of the organization, managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating team members and proactively managing risks and issues. Maintains a collaborative relationship with the Enterprise Project Management Office adhering to HonorHealth project managment standards. Uses Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) tools and standardized processes to effectively implement all assigned projects. Develops and maintains time lines, personnel requirements, actions and issues for assigned low complexity or operational programs/projects. Provides regular project status reports to stakeholders addressing project milestone status, issues and budget. Ensures all project documentation is stored in MS SharePoint. Collaborates with Project/Program owners, finance, quality, compliance, IT and analytics to track performance measurement via dashboards and reporting. Monitors database integrity, validates data accuracy, and ensure the transfer of data to appropriate national and state benchmarking. Monitors and shares outcome data that allows for stakeholders to identify, organize and lead performance improvement opportunities. Collaborates with managers and physicians to ensure implementation and sustainability of performance improvement actions, processes and procedures. Maintains the confidentiality of highly sensitive information Supports governance structures, programs and projects by scheduling meetings, developing presentations, creating agendas and taking minutes. Strong facilitator with executive presence driving productive meetings, activities and working sessions. Organizes project or task work delegating tasks and closely monitoring status of projects. Facilitates project intake for assigned committees, service lines, departments or governance bodies. Accountable for ensuring departmental projects are tracked and reflected in the HonorHealth Project Portfolio. Solves conflicts and issues in a timely manner, escalating to leader as appropriate. Communicates effectively across all audiences. As a member of the project management team, works closely with other team members in collecting and routing information and facilitating issue resolution. Escalating as appropriate. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience Required Experience 1 year project experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, business and healthcare experience supporting project teams.
