FirstService Residential Line Cook in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Overview:

As a Line Cook, you will help restaurant operations run smoothly by cooking and preparing meals for guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space.

Compensation: $20 per hour

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all food prep areas, utensils, stoves and cooking surfaces are sanitized and ready for service
  • Set up workstations with required ingredients and utensils before each shift
  • Ensure all ingredients are kept fresh and foods stored properly
  • Follow restaurant recipes to prepare and arrange final dishes in a timely manner
  • Maintain food safety and sanitization standards
  • Follow all safety standards when working with knives and kitchen equipment
  • Assist with unloading and stocking food deliveries
  • Sanitize kitchen equipment and workstation at the end of each shift

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to read and follow recipes with precision
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Food Handlers’ card required
  • At least 1 year working in a full service restaurant

Physical Requirements:

  • Non-slip shoes required
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds safely
  • Able to stand for long periods of time in a kitchen environment

Work Location : Scottsdale, AZ

Work Hours: Tuesday – Saturday; 2p - 10p
