Network Design Engineer

Scottsdale, AZ

Contract Position

\$58.13-\$63.13/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Design and plan network systems, creating detailed schematics and specifications for network architecture.
• Provide recommendations for hardware, software, implementation techniques, and tools to ensure efficient solutions that meet current and future capacity requirements.
• Troubleshoot network equipment issues and coordinate third-party maintenance as needed.
• Maintain technical expertise in network and computer hardware/software interconnection and interfacing, including routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, and gateways.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master\'s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one discipline/field, with a developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields.
