Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Scottsdale, Arizona
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Investment Advisory industry based in Scottsdale, Arizona. We seek an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to bookkeeping, document organization, data entry, and customer communications.
Responsibilities:
• Perform bookkeeping activities and manage accounts payable functions utilizing software such as QuickBooks and Oracle.
• Handle and coordinate telephone calls, draft emails, and type letters to vendors, showcasing strong communication skills.
• Organize and maintain documents and database case files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct data entry tasks and reconcile adjustments in excel spreadsheets, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Produce photocopies and scan correspondence, documents, and other printed materials as needed.
• Assist management in tracking and analyzing account information in excel spreadsheets, showing a capacity for detail-oriented tasks.
• Read and comprehend a variety of financial documents such as contracts, applications, funding agreements, credit card statements, payment ledgers, judgment copies, etc.
• Work extensively in Microsoft Excel and Word, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Manage accounts receivable and billing processes, using software such as SAP.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Investment Advisory industry
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Billing and Invoice Processing
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
