Description
OVERVIEW:
The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for the care of the dining hall during the week and/or weekend. Duties preparing the dining hall for meals, cleaning & disinfecting, washing dishes, organizing kitchen, ensuring all details are well taken care of, and working closely with other camp staff to ensure our guests receive the highest level of hospitality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attendant Duties:
Set up tables
Make coffee, re-supply, and clean beverage counter
Assist in serving the meal
Take out trash, compost, and recycle bins
Clean dining hall windows and doors
Wipe down tables & chairs, sweep, mop, and reset tables for next meal
Check, restock, and clean public bathrooms before and after meals
Dishwashing Duties:
Wash and store dishes, pots, and pans
Maintain cleanliness of all dishwashing areas
Sweep the kitchen floor after each meal
Sweep and spot mop dining room floor
Empty trash
Mop the kitchen floor after the last meal of the day
Prepare and clean pans, cleaning cloths, and spatulas for each table
Clean and maintain outside trash and mop storage
Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience hosting (1 year preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Team player
Great communication skills
Ability to multi-task
EQUIPMENT USED:
- Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
