As an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager, you will serve as C5T\'s contract lead for a major program supporting mission essential capabilities for our clients. You will be responsible for leading C5T\'s team to delight the customer and ensure overall contract success. You will be the primary interface with the government Contracting Officer Representative (COR), government management personnel, and other customer agency representatives, as well as C5T and partner personnel performing the work. You will lead the team\'s efforts to plan and execute all the necessary work within the scope of the effort. You will use established PMP principles, as well as C5T corporate procedures and policies to manage this complex IT program balancing the voice of the customer, the voice of the business, and the voice of the employees. The primary customer for this program is United States Transportation Command, with headquarters located on Scott AFB and including numerous geographically separated entities. A critical aspect of this position is stakeholder management, with emphasis on regular, timely, clear, effective communication.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plans, initiates, and manages IT projects.
  • Leads business and technical staff of complex IT projects.
  • Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage.
  • Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Leads the project team to achieve success for the client and C5T.
  • Works closely with the customer, C5T corporate leadership, and key partners to plan, track, and report on progress of all deliverables.
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, determines budget and time required for each goal, as well as the project as a whole.
  • Meets regularly with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review plans and accomplish tasks for deliverable items.
  • Identifies and mitigates potential risks.
  • Supervises contract personnel at multiple locations.
  • Reviews work products, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • Resolves issues in the course of project execution.
  • Assigns and manages personnel work schedules.
  • Ensures conformance with program schedules and budgets.
  • Understands, communicates, and enforces work standards in keeping with C5T policies.
  • Implements and monitors training of personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Proven team leadership ability in DoD environment
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management
  • Technical expertise in IT field related to this contract (e.g., software development, systems integration, database management, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Exceptional time-management and task prioritization skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and consultation skills required.
  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain management or other relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years\' directly related experience as a project manager, including at least5 years\' experience managing complex IT projects in DoD.
  • Current PMP certificationdesire .
  • ITIL Foundations,Practitioner or Intermediate certification desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
  • Security Clearance - The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • US Citizenship/Work Eligibility: This position requires a candidate who is either a current US Citizen or has appropriate paperwork to show eligibility for full-time work in the US.
