Cummins Inc. Credit Risk Manager in Scoresby, Australia
DESCRIPTION
You will make an impact in the following ways:
Prepare entity or region credit reporting, planning and forecasting.
Analyse credit exposures of an entity or region of a business segment.
Understand trade finance and credit management skills to support the business.
Perform credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts at the entity or region level in line with Corporate Policy, ensuring minimal risk to the business.
Support the standardization of processes where possible within applicable entities or within a region across the business unit.
Develop and produce regional or global reports to monitor Accounts Receivable performance against approved business segment credit limits.
Prepare metrics analysis and consolidated credit reporting for the entity or region, as well as ad hoc credit analysis and reports as required.
Partner with sales/commercial function on key business growth needs by providing credit/financial support.
Encourage cross business segment communication on credit issues involving common customers within the region to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders to optimize customer experience
Support the implementation of Corporate Credit Policies and assures audit compliance against them.
Lead special projects to improve Accounts Receivable credit systems, reporting and processes.
Implement and manage the reporting and analysis of credit risk strategies and receivables performance health metrics with a focus on continuous improvement
Responsible for audit of credit notes raised by the business to ensure compliance
Manage the internal and external audit reviews of our department.
Interpret credit policy, guidelines and procedures, particularly with respect to both compliance and performance reporting
Understand, implement and monitor PPSR Strategy

Financial Analysis - Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement; evaluates financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders; ensures integrity of financial data by investigating variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
QUALIFICATIONS

Hybrid Work – Mondays & Tuesday On-Site/ Wednesday – Friday Remote
Highly Preferred Skills/Experience:
Strong Business Partnering skills
Experience in operational credit strategies both credit risk & collections
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related subject required.
Progress toward financial certification is also preferred.
