ASPHALT DEPOT LLC Christmas Decor Laborers in Sciota, Pennsylvania

Asphalt Depot LLC dba Christmas Decor is seeking to fill nine (9) temporary, full-time seasonal positions for 10/1/24 1/3125. Worksite: 1271 US 22, Lebanon, NJ 08833 and multiple sites in Hunterdon, Somerset, Northampton and Monroe counties.

Stock materials to/from storage or production areas, loading docks, vehicles, containers, by hand, trucks, tractors, etc. Sort cargo. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive oral instructions. Stack cargo in locations, via pallets, boxes, cargo boards. Lift up to 50 lbs. May drive crew vehicle.

No education or experience required. OJT.

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Sat - Sun work required, when necessary. OT required, when necessary. Terms and conditions of employment: $25.98/hr, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri,7:30AM-4:00PM. OT at $38.97per hour. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Tues. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.

Employer will make all deductions required by law and no others without written consent from worker. The employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Potential elective deductions to be pre-authorized in writing if applicable are as follows: Employer to provide company-specific washable uniforms and protective equipment (shirt and pants) at no cost to the worker. Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for workers sole benefit, including but not limited to 401k and health insurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck with worker consent.

The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel toa maximum of $59.00/day with receipts. Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.
