We are offering internship (mandatory or non-mandatory) or thesis projects with real impact on products that consumers around the world can’t live without. During your internship you get to work on your own technical project and apply your skills and strengthen your capabilities. You will work with people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We make sure that you gain support and mentoring in your professional development and will provide you with various training opportunities.
YOUR ROLE
Here are some examples of projects we can usually offer:
Electrical or Mechanical or Packaging Engineering
Design of innovative mechanical & electronic concepts for smart physical prototypes
Drive for rapid prototyping through additive manufacturing technologies
Development of appealing packaging concepts with the best possible environmental footprint
Chemical or Physical Science
Lead a feasibility study for the development of a new raw material
Synthesis and characterization of super absorbing polymers for hygiene products
Formulation of hair care products and tests for various fragrance options
Natural-/Life Sciences/QA
Statistical analysis and interpretation of datasets to gain new consumer insights
Demo development to communicate benefit of new product to consumer
Test method development and validation to measure product or material performance
Computational engineering or Modelling and Simulation
Simulation and modeling of complex fluids and materials to predict product or process performance
Digitalization of manufacturing and supply chain processes
Development of coaching algorithms and gamification concepts for personalized consumer experience
Job Qualifications
YOUR PROFILE
You are a highly motivated and curious bachelor’s or master’s student and have already completed at least the first two semesters of your bachelor’s
You are enrolled for the full period of your internship and study at a European university with one of the following subjects:
Engineering: Mechanical-, Electrical-, Chemical-, Industrial-, Precision-Engineering, Mechatronic, Packaging, Computational, Mathematical or equivalent
Physical Sciences: Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Physics, Materials Technology and Science and Mathematical Modeling & Simulation
Natural-/Life Sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bio Physics, Statistics, or similar.
You are available for min. 3 and up to 12 months for an internship with a possible start every 1st of the month, for a thesis you should plan with 6 months duration
You have a track record of academic excellence and solid technical skills
You work effectively with diverse groups of people by embracing creativity, innovation, curiosity and initiative.
You demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, a drive for leadership, and a strong passion for technical challenges
You can communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken)
