Here\'s What You\'ll Get To Do * Responsible for the day-to-day tempering operations and equipment in order to meet safety, quality, and production goals. * Work with Maintenance to oversee preventative maintenance and repairs. * Perform and assist with general maintenance procedures as required. * Trouble shoot equipment failures, adjust as needed to keep equipment running properly and continue to meet glass quality expectations. * Understand and perform, when needed, all tasks on the tempering line. * Conduct and log quality checks to ensure we are meeting the standard of OBE heat treated glass. At OBE we have each other\'s back. * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision * Regular and predictable attendance, the safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job Physical Requirements * Requires ability to tolerate constant standing and walking as well as frequent reaching and bending at the waist * Must be able to lift an average of 50 to 75 lbs. on a regular basis * Must be able to stand and walk on a concrete floor for eight or more hours * The shop floor working environment is subject to unusually warm temperatures during the summer months due to the heat generated by the glass tempering furnaces.
