Responsibilities Performs a wide range of illustrating assignments in the preparation of view-graphs, wall charts, posters, fliers, brochures and Similar materials. Designs layouts and produces graphic designs as requested by serviced activities. Prepares illustrations for manuals, pamphlets, handbooks and similar types of publications. Prepares materials for publication. Interviews project proponents who review and identify acceptability of work results. May be provided copy and required to independently develop illustrations within narrow time limits. Serves as COR for graphic and production type contracts. Orders supplies and maintains equipment necessary to support the program. Establishes and maintains records related to work performed Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: 1. Completion of an Accredited Program in Graphic Design, Art or related field which involves artistic creativity; or 2. Work experience performing the duties described above. HIGHLY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: 1. Three years minimum in a professional work environment with proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Adobe Premiere Pro). 2. Three years minimum demonstrated experience in branding, layout design, and content creation for digital and print platforms. 3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients and project stakeholders. 4. A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects and creative problem-solving abilities. The experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered for either minimum preferred or highly preferred candidate. **Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official.
