Microsoft Corporation Group Manager, Occupational Medicine (Health & Safety) in Schiphol, Netherlands

This role is focused on preventative programs in the areas of wellbeing and psychosocial risk in addition to occupational hazards.

As a Group (People) Manager, Occupational Medicine (Health & Safety), you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of global health and safety programs within your EMEA region team and manage Microsoft’s approach to occupational medicine.

Specific to the France region, you will implement preventions and improvements in:

  • Occupational hazards (e.g. physical hazards)

  • Be responsible for establishing and maintaining mandatory documents regarding occupational risk assessment and prevention.

  • Employee wellbeing and working conditions, including conducting health-at-work activities to safeguard the health of workers throughout their working life, including preventative programs concerning psychosocial risks and employee wellbeing.

  • Driving preventions, you will not be responsible for examinations.

Responsibilities

As a Group Manager, OHS you will:

  • Be responsible for people management within Western Europe by supporting a regional team in disseminating information related to OHS requirements and standards and delivering success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring as well as attracting and retaining great people.

  • Develop and implement Microsoft’s Occupational Medicine global function and strategy.

  • Supporting your team in implementing global programs locally across your region, with a history of success in implementing prevention processes at a large company.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND multiple years experience in Health and Safety worldwide Regulations OR equivalent experience

  • Experience in psychosocial risks & employee wellbeing.

Preferred Qualification

  • Medical degree, specializing in Occupational Medicine within France, or workplace psychologist or related field AND extensive Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience

  • OR equivalent experience

  • Multiple years people management experience, including managing geographically distributed team

  • Internationally recognized safety and health certifications

  • This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational French and English.
