Minimum Qualifications Eligible List: Candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service List for this title. OR Transfer: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1, 70.4, or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Duties Description · Be the subject matter expert on the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR). · Manage all aspects statewide concerning the continued development, support, and analysis of EHR systems and related projects, as well as associated trends and perceptions to ensure the best possible healthcare outcomes for those receiving services · Review proposals and recommendations from staff concerning the status of the EHR system, including changes and/or additions to functionality and submits final recommendations to the Executive Deputy Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner for State Operations. · Review proposals from staff and advise executive leadership on the criticality of revising system and/or related business process requirements during and after system implementation, if applicable. · Participate in statewide policy meetings with regards to clinical medical records and care coordination documentation. · Evaluate the impact of software and hardware releases on the EHR system, through the use of systems testing, to provide executive leadership guidance and advice related to the adoption and implementation of software upgrades or revising system specifications and capabilities of the EHR system. · Responsible for changes to the current EHR contract as well as any new EHR contracts in the future.· Ensure electronic health and care coordination records are being retained according to agency policy. · Supervise the POS2 (G-23) and 2 POS1s (G-18) staff who together will oversee/implementation and support the Regions/Districts in E-Scheduler management. · Monitor the training, roll-out, implementation, and ongoing use of E-Scheduler throughout the state. Monitor for need and updates to E-Scheduler training materials. · Review E-Scheduler reports and monitor for trends that could help the agency.· Monitor the training, roll-out, implementation, and ongoing use of chosen product for employee timecards. · Monitor the need and updates to training materials provided to staff on the product chosen for their timecards.· Ensure that staff are using the timecards correctly and efficiently. · Create and update policies in accordance with use of both E-Scheduler and employee timecards, including working with other respective divisions.· Lead and coordinate new State Operations system wide enterprise solution rollouts, such as a Dental services EHR, and other business focused solutions LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/nys-office-for-people-with-developmental-disabilities/posts/?feedView=all#LI-SF1
