Pay: $20 - $27/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and repairing gas boilers, providing HVAC system services, performing heating repair, installing cooling systems, and replacing and repairing furnaces and oil-fired boilers.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair gas boilers

• Provide HVAC system services

• Perform heating repair

• Install cooling systems

• Replace and repair furnaces

• Repair and install oil-fired boilers

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of HVAC installation/service experience

• Customer service oriented

• Ability to travel to various locations for work

• Quick learner with the ability to pick up new skills from the team

• Strong team working abilities

• Mechanically inclined

• Experience with installation, service, and mechanical tasks

• EPA certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing services including repairs and maintenance, water heaters, tankless water heaters, sinks, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, inspections, and pipe thawing

Work Environment

This position involves 100% field work. Depending on your experience level, you will initially ride to job sites with a lead technician who will guide you until you are comfortable performing work independently. Start your day at the shop to receive work orders before heading out in a company vehicle. You will interact with customers, so being presentable and professional is required. The work is split 50% commercial and 50% residential (new construction). The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm, with potential overtime and on-call duty once a month.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schenectady, New York.
