The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to Production, and identifying/implementing new processes and process improvements. This position focuses heavily on process settings, conducting complex troubleshooting, and managing improvement projects.

\ Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop manufacturing methods and processes for standard product lines.

{=html} <!-- --> - Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement and/or lead projects that improve the manufacturing process.

{=html} <!-- --> - Work with production to assess existing processes.

{=html} <!-- --> - Create process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates.

{=html} <!-- --> - Perform risk assessments.

{=html} <!-- --> - Design and test process upgrades and new process systems.

{=html} <!-- --> - Ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards.

{=html} <!-- --> - Perform optimization tests.

{=html} <!-- --> - Manage tooling design, procurement, and use in production.

{=html} <!-- --> - Control and develop process parameters for production equipment.

  • Train employees on new manufacturing practices

{=html} <!-- --> - Analyze current production data

{=html} <!-- --> - Promote efficiency and safety in the plant

Qualifications\ \

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (with focus on Manufacturing) preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a process engineer.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (GD&T preferred).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have familiarity with MS Office and engineering software.
  • Six sigma green/black belt certification (preferred)
