Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Law Clerk in SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, United States. As a Law Clerk, you will be central to the smooth running of our legal operations, handling a variety of tasks ranging from document management to litigation support.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat for the creation, editing, and management of legal documents

• Assist in the preparation and organization of materials for litigation proceedings

• Implement Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and analysis purposes

• Actively participate in document management tasks, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of legal information

• Provide comprehensive support for legal staff, including research and administrative tasks

• Contribute to the maintenance and organization of the law library, updating resources as necessary

• Draft and proofread legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Requirements • Possession of a law degree or currently enrolled in an accredited law school

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document creation, editing, and management

• Familiarity with document management systems and processes

• Experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Willingness to work in a team and collaborate with different departments

• Commitment to continuous learning and development in the field of law.
