Job Description: Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing custom electrical drawings, PLC programming, safety PLC programming, wiring, and robotic programming. This role involves managing multiple electrical drawings and revisions for new and existing projects. Internal training is available, with opportunities to develop skills in robotics, welding, machining, design, R&D, or other areas of interest.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple electrical drawings and revisions for new and existing projects
Design electrical drawings for automation cells using SolidWorks
Program safety PLCs (Banner)
Program robots (ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc)
Program PLCs (Wago)
Perform cabinet wiring
Create documentation packages
Maintain general knowledge of all aspects of the RBC process
Essential Skills
1-3+ years of experience in electrical engineering creating schematics or panel/cabinet design
Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD design
Knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical design, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, robot programming, PLC programming, and schematic design
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with robotics programming (Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa)
PLC programming experience
Knowledge of high and low voltage systems
Mechanical aptitude
Machining and welding skills
Experience with Banner Safety Logic and Banner Scanner
