Description

We are seeking a Controller to join our team. This role is integral to our Construction industry operations, where you will be responsible for overseeing general ledger accounting, managing the financial reporting processes, and supervising a team. Your duties will also include the preparation of financial statements and streamlining regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage general ledger accounting operations.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Ensure efficient and accurate month-end close processes.

• Prepare comprehensive financial statements for internal and external use.

• Conduct detailed financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision making.

• Manage regulatory reporting processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure financial alignment with project objectives.

• Utilize construction accounting software for efficient and accurate processing of financial data.

• Adopt budget processes to ensure financial stability and growth.

• Work independently to meet deadlines and targets.

Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with budget processes and forecasting

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting principles and practices

• Ability to oversee the month-end close process efficiently

• Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and data analysis

• Excellent leadership abilities to manage and guide the accounting team

• In-depth understanding of accounting regulations and compliance

• Exceptional communication skills to present financial information clearly

• Proficiency in accounting software and systems

• Ability to develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
