Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant's role is to assist and direct traffic through the lobby of the program including service recipients, visitors, and vendors. Directs telephone traffic according to the nature of the call. Performs clerical support duties.

The Administrative Assistant is expected to:

  • Receive incoming calls and routes them appropriately.

  • Receive service recipients/visitors as they enter the lobby, determine the nature of their business, and provide the appropriate service.

  • Process medical records requests.

  • Organize and manage client transportation.

  • Provide information and documentation to attorneys, external providers and family members as required.

  • Oversee and manage all billing for the office.

  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to type 50 words per minute.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate word processing and spreadsheet computer programs.

  • Criminal background check that meets Agency standards.

  • Successful completion of a background check that meets Agency standards.

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and insurance that meets Agency standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an office or clinical setting.
