Your Job

As Manufacturing Quality Engineer located in our Fab 1 in Dresden, Germany, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with interdisciplinary local and global teams, help to fulfill the high demands on our quality processes and work on continuous improvement and development projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • As part of the Manufacturing Quality Assurance team you will ensure business process execution according to our standards for e.g. PCRB, MRB, FMEA, iCAR/8D.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous quality enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional local and global teams.

  • Perform statistical analysis and utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements.

  • Use key performance indicators (KPI) to measure performance against defined targets.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices related to semiconductor quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • Several years of relevant experience in the work area especially in semiconductor industry.

  • Sound knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (including bump- and packaging-processes).

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis methods and quality management processes (e.g. PCRB, MRB, FMEA, iCAR/8D, internal/external audits).

  • Experience with ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Certification in Six Sigma or similar quality improvement methodologies is a plus.
