MAG SOA/TRMS Air Movement Specialist I (Loadmaster I) in Savannah, Georgia
Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highlyqualified Air Movement Specialist I (Loadmaster I) to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Plan, develop, coordinate, instruct, and administer loadmaster operational fixed wingair movement at the battalion level for the 160th SOAR(A).
Provide instruction to militarypersonnel in the loading/unloading transport aircraft and vehicle movements in/out of CONUS/OCONUS locations.
Analyze loadmaster requirements, mission essential tasks, individual unit tasks, conditions, and standards. The Contractor shall develop operational concepts, recommend procedures and processes for air movement, and monitor plans and programs to conduct Army Special Operations, Air Force Special Operations and Joint Special Operations air- movement.
Work with staff in reviewing or developing policy and directives pertinent to airlift program management, objectives, and responsibilities. The Contractor shall draft policies and procedures for the Regiment and obtain approvals necessary to implement revised or new air movement directives of higher headquarters.
Determine quantity and type of cargo to be loaded IAW allowable aircraft cabin load.
Inspect aircraft cargo to verify proper documentation, packaging and marking.
The Contractor shall conduct site surveys to arrange airlift missions and support for personnel and aircraft. The Contractor shall operate government motor vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of eight years of relevant experience managing loadmaster operations.
Graduate of the USAF Basic Loadmaster and Instructor Loadmaster courses.
MC-130E or MC-130 H loadmaster qualified.
Minimum of 500 hours in any of the following aircraft: MC/C-130, C-17, or C-5 as a loadmaster.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and conducting air movement operations for the Army.
Experience with Special Operations Forces as an Air Force Loadmaster or Air Force Transporter.
Minimum of five years experience conducting NVG rapid on/offloads and FARP operations.
Minimum of 500 hours in any of the following aircraft: MC/C-130, C-17, or C-5 as a loadmaster.
SECRET clearance and eligible for TS-SCI as required.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
