job summary:

As a shipping and receiving clerk, you will receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt. You will also contact suppliers or shipper if mistakes are identified and maintain accurate records to assist inventory control. Job may require bending, lifting, standing, walking. ● Process customer orders utilizing in-house order management system ● Analyze shipping documents and labels for accuracy and completeness ● Identify improvement opportunities and work with the Supervisor to determine what action is required ● Utilize systems, tools and processes to maintain timely and accurate order fulfillment practices and customer delivery ● Monitor and assess work performance against daily objectives; recognize issues and work with order fulfillment and leadership to assure adherence to goals ● Assist with any order discrepancy investigations ● Follow Standard Operating Procedures when performing tasks ● Working knowledge of ERP order management systems, Crystal Reports, UPS/Fedex Shipping Applications, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel ● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in any situation ● Ability to focus on performance in times of change while balancing multiple demands and competing priorities ● The ability to work independently and also collaboratively with a team ● Ability to make timely and effective decisions based on available information ● 1-3 years minimum level of experience in a similar position ● PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Warehousing Inventory Control Systems ● Strong organizational and multitasking skills within short windows of time ● Strong written and verbal communication skills

salary: $18.5/hr

work hours: 4:00PM to 2:30AM

• Load, unload materials & equipment

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
