Goodwill Southeast Georgia DIGITAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST in Savannah, Georgia

As a Digital Media and Communications Specialist at Goodwill, you’ll assist in the planning and execution of all digital communications to advance Goodwill’s mission and build brand awareness across service area.

This position is based out Savannah, GA but must be able to travel to events and sites across Goodwill SEGA’s footprint and state-wide.

Your Impact:

  • Develop digital marketing/communication strategies, logistics and execution for organizational projects and get buy-in from respective teams.

  • Develop and design localized content, including marketing materials, social media graphics, video, reels, and photography for use in marketing campaigns.

  • Drive value and efficiency through application of generative AI into marketing initiatives.

  • Manage organic social and social advertising and campaigns across multiple platforms, while driving strategy, engagement, and overall ROI.

  • Track, analyze and share campaign results and social metrics monthly, analyzing data for continuous improvement and emerging trends.

  • Support internal departments through the creation and distribution of marketing collateral including signage, advertisements, and business support materials.

  • Optimize Google Ad Grant for greatest impact ensuring required grant metrics are achieved.

  • Manage and maintain Goodwill SEGA call center script, track call metrics, analyze potential pain points and report.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local micro-influencers to expand reach and engagement on social channels.

  • Collaborate across organization and expertise areas to bring results-driven thinking to internal clients.

  • Copywriting, proofreading, and editing documents, website content, social media, and other outreach content with strong attention to detail.

  • Works closely with Marketing Team to successfully promote and execute community events.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of digital marketing experience.

  • Comprehensive experience using social media platforms such as: Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram including necessary creative work (graphics/photography).

  • Experience with generative AI

  • High level of social media and digital content strategy knowledge.

  • Practical knowledge of SEO, web traffic, social, and advertising metrics

  • Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including occasional nights and weekends if business needs require.

  • Up to 50% of this role will include travel to events and sites across Goodwill SEGA’s territory and state-wide.

  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
