PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complies with all PPE standards and is aware of all safety practices, follows safety rules and procedures, complies with all legal regulations.

  • Maintains and enforces a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations

  • Solid written and oral skills, supports all functions related to framing, tie-down, siding and Zip tape operations on multiple projects

  • Represents company with professionalism at all times

  • Must have a solid knowledge of framing, siding, Zip tape and tie-down practices and be able to interact with sub-contractors and employees

  • Must possess problems solving skills

  • Expected to meet with inspectors and performs repairs during inspection.

  • Performs punch work as needed, but no more than 25% of weekly work schedule

  • Stacks lumber, cleans-up lots, etc. as needed

  • May make deliveries of fill-in building materials to job sites and assist with material placement and movement

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Reports directly to Superintendents and/or Construction Managers

  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.

  • Update and Maintain Appwright.

  • Daily safety inspections

  • Expected to meet with inspectors and performs repairs during inspection.

  • Performs small punch list items pertaining to inspection items as needed, but no more than 25% of weekly time

  • Stacks lumber, cleans-up lots when necessary

  • May make deliveries of fill-in building materials to job sites and assist with material placement and movement

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.

  • Walk and inspect all assigned units daily.

  • Monitor activities and assist in future planning.

  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.

  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified.

  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.

  • Assist in coordination of required inspections.

  • Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regard to quality of work or scheduling.

  • Submit and track needed change orders. (General Contractor and Sub-Contractor)

  • Must be able to lift and move lumber and metal materials

  • Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 75 lbs.

  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends
