The Durable Slate Company Assistant Project Manager in Savage, Maryland

The Durable Restoration Company is now hiring a n   Assistant Project Manager . We are looking for someone who appreciates historic structures and monuments and wants to contribute to restoring and preserving their history for future generations to come.  We specialize in preserving our local community as well as historic landmarks across the US.  

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have at least a 2 year degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or equivalent field experience or prior experience in construction management administration or architectural training. Students currently in construction related programs will also be considered for the position

  • Must be familiarity with submittals, the submittal process, shop drawings, product data, RFI's, change orders, pay apps, and other construction administration.

  • Must be able to read and understand spec books

  • Must be comfortable and physically capable to visit project sites utilizing lifts, ladders, scaffoldings etc.

  • Able to communicate effectively.

  • We are a state certified drug free company. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and also random drug screening.

  • Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or less points for insurance purposes

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

  • Must be able to pass Federal, NSA and Department of Defense background checks for military and/or government projects. 

  • Be willing to learn!  

    Additional positives:
