Stellar Manufacturing is a contract manufacturer of solid particle products and specializes in chemical processing services such as specialty tableting, compaction granulation, and granular filling. Job Overview:

The Stellar General Manager will oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives related to safety, quality, innovation, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader with P&L experience who can manage cross-functional teams, optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this candidate will have strong operational expertise with a focus on KPIs, safety, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

  • Align production schedules with sales forecasts to ensure on-time delivery and effective inventory management.

  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability.

  • Manage operational budgets, including labor, materials, maintenance, and utilities, to maintain financial discipline.

  • Foster a safety-driven work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.

  • Monitor key KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), defect rates, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.

  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Lead and mentor teams to foster a high-performance culture and develop team members' skills.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and promote operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Chemistry, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in the pool or chemical industry.

  • Proven experience managing P&L with a successful track record of meeting financial and operational goals.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Expertise in safety management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, aligning diverse teams toward common objectives.
