Saratoga Casino Hotel ANALYST in Saratoga Springs, New York
Saratoga Casino Hotel is looking for a tech savvy person to fill an analyst position within our Finance Department. This position will work on a range of tasks that cover business analytics as well as financial analytics. This position will require high usage of Microsoft Excel and SQL and assist the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with gathering, organizing and interpreting data that will aid the company in decision-making processes.
Job Responsibilities
Creates operational performance analysis reports for different facets of the company
Identifies trends and developments in property performance and presents findings to senior management.
Maintain Data Warehouse in support of BI activities.
Assist in the quality control processes to ensure accurate deliverables to casino patrons
Create and provide reporting and analysis for all departments.
Assist in developing SQL jobs, SSIS packages, SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.
Independently drives departmental labor analysis for operating departments.
Assists to ensure accurate internal departmental reporting with routine periodic data collection and validation.
Analyze financial data and develop forecasts through trend analysis.
Enforce all departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Promote outstanding customer relations
Requirements
Advance experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or combination of education and experience to fit the needs of the job duties.
Familiarity with list management and variable data.
Experience with relational databases and data mining.
Able to acts with discretion and maintains confidentiality in handling of sensitive information.
Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have excellent relationship building skills to work with department heads and managers on a daily basis.
