Coordinate the development and implementation of preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance plans for all aspects of the water/wastewater operations and their related systems and equipment using staff or contracted work.
Work with the Operations Managers to create routes, schedules, job plans, purchase and work orders in the CMMS.
Establish workload priorities and manage field staff to meet deadlines.
Assist with the developing of preventative and/or predictive maintenance plans for new CIP assets and locations.
Create and develop new records and/or job plans within CMMS.
Maintain all assets and location records related to water/wastewater operations.
Obtain quotes for the repair or replacement of parts and equipment.
Monitor, schedule, and inspect all the work orders assigned to contractors.
Communicate with the contractor and County Operations Manager to obtain missing or incomplete information.
Oversee the distribution of contractor work orders then develop and create operational reports for distribution.
Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
About You
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a physical or natural science engineering, business administration or related fields AND two (2) years of job-related experience.
-OR- Six ( 6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education.
-OR- Related professional program/ project management may substitute for the required education at management discretion.
A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Valves, Hydrants, ARVs, Water Meters, and other equipment found in water and wastewater systems, and the parts used to repair them.
Experience working with: Maximo version 7 or higher, NaviLine software, MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Visio, and/or ESRI GIS software.
About Everything Else:
Starting Pay Range: $55,577.60 - $60,008.00 /year, based on your experience
