The CNC Set-Up Operator will load machines with correct material, set parameters and tools utilizing approved HCOA processes and technical orders or engineering diagrams. Additionally, the CNC Set-Up Operator is responsible for ensuring accurate machining of these processes via quality checks and measurements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide their internal customers with correct products and services, on-time.
• Create, communicate, and accomplish daily department schedules.
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Complete daily Machine PM's
• Keep WOs and associated documentation with each part throughout the manufacturing process and provides documentation to their internal customer.
• Retain part traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
• Keep Cetec order location data current and correct.
• Full and complete understanding of all other pertinent HCOA Operation Procedures or Work Instructions.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating a CNC system as an operator, and tender along with apprenticeship programs, informally on the job, or training in secondary, vocational, or technical college.
• Ability to read, comprehend and adhere to technical data
• Microsoft Office Suite and data entry into ERP systems
• Security Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US. If required possess the ability to pass the Defense National Agency Check IAW DoDD 5200.2

Physical Demands / ADA Compliance

The employee may be required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Correctable vision to 20/20 with full depth perception. Ability to pass DOT Drug Testing requirements (49 CFR Part 40). Regularly required to push, pull, bend and apply pressure using hand tools and operate machinery.

$20 an hour

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime required. Monday through Friday. Onsite only.

Background and Drug test required.
