Your New Role:
Warner Bros. Discovery is searching for a Supervisor, Employee Connection Brazil to join the Global Business Services (GBS) People & Culture (P&C) Operations team. This role based in Brazil will supervise EC team members who support HR Services and HR People & Culture (P&C) Partners with position and employee data management. This Supervisor role oversees day-to-day processes for the EC team and assists team members with training. Participates as a subject matter expert in meetings and on special projects around EC. Assists internal and external clients and P&C Partners with questions and concerns.
The Employee Connection team is the primary data owner of employee data in Workday HCM. The team processes transactions for HR employee data such as position management, hires, rate changes, promotions, transfers, terminations, and data corrections in our Workday HCM system. Audits and analyzes data to maintain data quality and ensure data accuracy. They are the system and process experts as it pertains to employee data and transactions.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Oversee the day-to-day Employee Connection activities for the Brazil based Employee Connection team;
Creates & drives individual team objectives & expectations that align with overall division and Company goals;
Act as primary support for P&C team in Brazil and provide secondary support to LATAM regional teams;
Reviews, analyzes, and audits data for completeness and accuracy. Run and distribute monthly reports & Ad/Hoc reports to divisional & P&C management as needed;
Ensures the team meet service level agreements and is responsive to client needs;
Mentor and provide guidance to EC team members related to work performance and opportunities to gain additional skills;
Ensure all team members are aligned with processes;
At the direction of the Sr. Manager, coordinate with technology team to implement and/or research new ideas for system enhancements or troubleshoot system issues;
Act as escalation point to respond to requests for assistance and guidance on processes from internal and external peers and clients, primarily for the Brazil market;
Supervise and assist team members who process Data Correction requests from field or because of internal audits. Work with P&C to identify issues and make corrections to employee data. Counsel P&C when correction may impact other employee data such as vacation accrual, pension, benefits, bonus etc.;
Represent Employee Connection team as subject matter expert in meetings and during large & small projects;
Assist with Change Management efforts as the result of process change, including the creation of process documentation;
Assist other EC team members with workload when extra support is needed;
Analyze, capture, respond to, and resolve P&C, pay, policy, benefits, employee data, and various other types of requests from employees, managers, and other customers leveraging ServiceNow (SNOW) Case Management;
Processes employee data transactions within Workday. Maintain ongoing data changes throughout the employee lifecycle, including employee on and off-boarding, job changes, mobility, and position management;
Work with local payroll to ensure data provided for payroll processing is accurate and correct;
Complete Performance reviews for direct reports to include feedback on performance objectives and expectations;
Partner with management on various projects, initiatives and on day-to-day support/escalations;
Help team plan & prioritize duties & project support work;
Find opportunities for process improvement/efficiencies and implement as appropriate;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum 4 years Human Resources administrative or related experience required, preferably with supervisory responsibilities from a global entertainment environment. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use confidential information appropriately;
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of work experience required;
Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English and Portuguese (Spanish preferred);
Technical Skills: Experience with Workday HR/payroll or other SaaS payroll tools preferred (SAP or PeopleSoft). Strong skills required with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Local Legal, Payroll and Labor Experience;
Relationship Management: Strong relationship skills. Experienced in building and maintaining effective collaborations. Recognized for reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness;
Process Management: Skilled in process improvements and problem solving, taking initiative to own work projects/tasks. Ability to manage ad hoc high-volume activities in a fast-paced environment independently;
Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills. Has strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
Communication: Exceptional communication and customer service skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly at all levels and in English. Must have flexible and adaptable attitude to cope with fast changing and complex environment;
Leadership Presence: Demonstrates ability to coach and develop team specialists and create a strong employee culture.
