Brown-Forman Senior Finance Analyst - South Latin America, Caribbean, and Central America in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Meaningful Work from Day One:

This role will primarily be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic analysis of market data, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior. This role requires deep expertise in data analytics, market research, and revenue management to support decision-making and optimize business performance. This role will be a key regional business partner, closely collaborating with the South, Central America, and the Caribbean (SCA&C ) Finance Director on various ad-hoc reports.

As part of a truly cross-functional team, the Senior Finance Analyst will work with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. Responsibilities include monitoring data, identifying business opportunities, and optimizing pricing and promotional strategies. Supported by Brand Analytics, Advanced Analytics, and Consumer/Shopper Insights, the role aims to develop investment cases, predictive volume/pricing scenarios, and competitive reviews.

What You Can Expect:

Work collaboratively with all areas of the organization to ensure a comprehensive approach in:

Pricing Analytics & Modeling:

  • Assist the SCA&C Finance Director in developing pricing modeling for markets across the region.

  • Support the Country Managers in gaming and developing pricing scenarios (coach and collaborate).

  • Develop regional discounting and programming analysis methodology in conjunction with FM ́s.

  • Perform competitive pricing analytics.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze market data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Owner of compilation, integration, and analysis of large numeric and qualitative data sets encompassing sales, financial, economic, competitive, and consumer information.

  • Drive improved efficiency of business operations through continually streamlining, automating, and systemizing processes and tools in pricing operations and spend management.

Strategy Development:

  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for revenue growth.

  • Identify new market opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations for business expansion.

  • Coordinate and support pricing alignment meetings across functions and geographies within the region and ensure alignment with the overall Soulacc commercial strategy.

  • Provide tools, processes, and analytics to drive pricing scenarios and gaming for pricing planning.

  • Develop pricing/discounting reporting and continue to evolve relative pricing methodology.

  • Partner with the Finance Director to build best practices around pricing and discounting.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product development, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment of revenue targets and market strategies.

  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Business Performance Management:

  • Accurately quantify and forecast pricing, promotional, and mix change impacts.

  • Deliver quarterly RGM insights and storytelling decks that drive action and accelerate the business.

  • Utilize data from a variety of sources, such as macroeconomic, consumer consumption, category, price segment, and market dynamic trends, to evaluate the region’s RGM strategy and develop execution plans to win in the current environment.

  • Ensure discounting strategies align with margin management strategies.

  • Monitoring price support funds during the year through the programming calendar and helping identify ways to address shortfalls or utilize excess funds.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of in-market chain programs that impact distribution, velocity, and trade inventories for each brand and channel level. Measure results versus goals and determine the quality of implementation. As appropriate, recommend courses of action.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience combination.

  • Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of data analysis techniques.

  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and initiative skills in working with multiple projects

  • Involvement in consumer pricing and multi-tiered route to market.

  • Proven ability to independently plan, prioritize, and organize work projects. Collect, analyze data, and present results in a concise, actionable format.

  • Knowledge of computer operation and use, with the ability to learn systems, including demonstrated competency in Tableau, SAP, BW, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

  • Demonstrated oral communication skills; ability to formulate response to detailed questions in representing corporate policy/practice within function, comfortable presenting information to internal audiences.

  • Demonstrated written communication skills; ability to compose final draft memos/project reports

  • Personal honesty and integrity

  • Proficiency with English/ Spanish.

  • Good relationship skills, consultative and collaborative approach, and teamwork to interact with and educate employees from different areas and job levels
