As demand for AWS services continues to grow, we're seeking exceptional talent to join our Global Trainer Center of Excellence.

In this pivotal role, you'll train and coach our customer-facing field members to effectively communicate AWS's value proposition to diverse stakeholders - from C-suite executives to line-of-business leaders and IT decision-makers. You'll leverage our comprehensive library of 70+ enablement programs to deliver transformative learning experiences globally, focusing primarily on developing executive-facing selling skills.

This position offers a unique opportunity to not only deliver existing programs but also to shape new ones, contributing your thought leadership to our evolving curriculum. You'll work closely with our field teams and sales leaders, ensuring they're equipped for high-level customer conversations that drive significant business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced C-level executive with strong business acumen, ethical standards, and global awareness. You should be passionate about the transformational potential of cloud technology and excited by the emerging possibilities of artificial intelligence. While a basic understanding of cloud concepts is essential, your extensive experience in strategic decision-making at the board level is crucial.

Key job responsibilities

  • Design and deliver global enablement and training programs to elevate our global field organization's capabilities.

  • Integrate AWS strategy, mission, and technology with our sales and business development methodologies in all programs.

  • Deliver transformational training courses that accelerate our global field organization's ability to partner with customers, crafting vision and 1-3 year business strategies for digital transformation and key business outcomes.

  • Provide post-program coaching to sales professionals and leaders, ensuring continuous learning application and supporting organizational upskilling and transformation.

  • Instill confidence in senior field team members for engaging with decision-makers across technical and non-technical roles.

  • Utilize diverse instructional techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based learning, remote training, and one-on-one coaching.

  • Develop engaging, strategy-rich learning experiences for each training session.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy and effectiveness of training content.

  • Offer constructive feedback to course developers to continuously improve curriculum quality.

  • Contribute thought leadership to the design and iteration of new training programs.

  • Engage with sales leaders to ensure their teams are equipped for C-suite customer conversations.

  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a senior executive (VP level or above) in a Global 2000 company

  • Experience making multi-million dollar investment decisions at a corporate level

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree; extensive relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

  • Experience in coaching and enablement of sales professionals

  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic business transformation initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing purchasing and adoption processes in enterprise environments

  • Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts with the ability to translate this expertise into AWS service offerings

  • Technical degree and/or experience working in a technology company, preferably in cloud services

  • Experience in a multinational technology company, demonstrating adaptability and cross-cultural competence

  • Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in business contexts

  • Track record of thought leadership in technology or business transformation

  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
