The Controller is responsible for providing strategic advice and support to internal business partners and external stakeholders. They develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls related to financial management, accounting (in compliance with GAAP), cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance, and corporate reporting. Additionally, the controller oversees external financial reporting and investor relations

This position is part of the Finance and Accounting located in Jundiai, SP and will be hybrid with some traveling.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Accounting: Manage general ledger (GL), customer billing, monthly reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial reporting. Conduct financial analysis of operations, cost of equity, and fixed asset control.

  • Planning: Prepare monthly financial forecasts and oversee the annual budget process.

  • Audit: Ensure compliance with internal controls and standards; participate in the annual audit process.

  • Finance: Oversee treasury management, working capital, cash control, inventory levels, accounts receivable, and banking services.

  • Taxes: Provide support for federal, state, and local tax planning, assess tax risks, and manage tax litigation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar position

  • Leadership experience

  • Advanced English

  • Willingness to travel (10% of the time)

  • Complete Higher Education in Accounting or Economics
