Amazon Brazil Country Manager, Kuiper Consumer Services in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are looking for a talented Brazil Consumer Country Manager who is ready to take charge of our consumer services business in Brazil. As one of our key team members, you will be responsible for launching, scaling and operating Kuiper’s residential broadband services in Brazil.
The successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization and be adept at understanding how fixed broadband businesses work in Brazil. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technologically savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products and services.
Key job responsibilities
Develop the go-to-market strategy, define business models and distribution plans to launch Kuiper residential broadband services in Brazil
Engage in business development efforts and contract negotiations required to launch and scale
Develop bottoms-up operating plans, pricing strategy and demand forecast
Deliver comprehensive written strategies, considering different types of inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
Prepare detailed business cases for new opportunities
Partner with legal, tax and regulatory stakeholders to solve local business challenges
Once operational, own the P&L, meet business goals and deliver a fantastic customer experience

Basic Qualifications
Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source
Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on
