Amazon Air Transportation Manager, Transportation BR in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Description

You will part of the team in charge to develop and design Amazon air cargo network in Brazil. This position play a vital role to create new air solutions based on shorter transit times, cost sustainable and with the best delivery speed for our customer. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to international stakeholders and a unique insight into the e-commerce logistic industry.

Key job responsibilities

Responsible to build and maintain strong relationships with air carrier partners, Track and analyze carrier performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, capacity utilization, and shipment quality. Identify areas for improvement and work with carriers to develop action plans to address any issues, collaborate with internal teams to forecast and plan capacity requirements based on volume projections, peak seasons, and business needs. Ensure adequate capacity is available to meet service level agreements, continuously evaluate carrier performance, network routes, and service levels to identify optimization opportunities. Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, Identify and mitigate risks related to carrier operations, such as service disruptions, capacity constraints, regulatory changes, or safety issues. Develop contingency plans and work closely with carriers to minimize any potential impact.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree;

  • Program or project management experience;

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams;

  • Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics;

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps);

  • Experience with Air Operations and Logistics;

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements;

  • Advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership;

  • Experience driving process improvements;

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization;

  • Experience building processes, project management and schedules;

  • Experience with SQL.
