Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Trade Compliance Specialist. You will have the opportunity to become part of a thriving and motivated department, where you can challenge yourself by managing a versatile and comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Responsible for the management of temporary inventory of the site and management of Annex 24 for the business in charge.

  • Ensure integrity of data for Commercial Compliance processes.

  • Inventory reconciliation between Annex 24 and ERP system (SAP / GTS), including: cycle counts, receipts discrepancies, inventory adjustments, company losses, perpetual inventories, company sales, etc.

  • Compliance to guarantee certifications such as OEA, CTPAT, VAT.

  • Knowledge of the IMMEX program.

  • Knowledge of the PROSEC program.

  • Knowledge of Reglas 8vas performance.

  • Support to ensure full company compliance with Mexican law.

  • Daily import/export operations (overseas, air shipments, ground shipments) on a temporary and definitive basis.

  • Conciliation of monthly import/export operations of raw materials and finished goods, equipment and machinery, scrap, unproductive material, surplus, and obsolete (E&O).

  • Conciliation of Fixed Asset inventory vs Import Records.

  • Provide accurate information to the taxes team related to VAT certification (Annex 30).

  • Daily and monthly submaquila reports performance.

  • Monthly INEGI report performance.

  • Knowledge of virtual operations (V1, F4, F5, A3).

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade (preferred) or related.

  • 3-5 years of experience in import and export.

  • Knowledge of customs legislation.

  • MS Office Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • SAP

  • Fluent English

  • Annex 24
