Job Description
Leading contributor individually and as a team member you are expected to deliver high quality technical expertise to Oracle customers through CSS projects and services. Work is non-routine and very complex involving the application of advanced technical skills within the Oracle Database technologies product set. Because of substantial customer interfacing you need demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction. A Bachelor*s in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent is a must. You should have at least 6 years of related experience prior to taking this position. You must have working experience with Oracle Database Technologies. You should have proven solid experience installing configuring and tuning Oracle Database RAC, Dataguard and Oracle Golden Gate. Working experience in laaS and PaaS technologies are a must ideally OCI
Knowledge of Puppet Ansible Chef or Terraform are required. English both Spoken and Written is a plus. A Computer Science or similar Masters degree is desirable.

Responsibilities
Migrate databases using the most appropriate strategies.
Write and maintain technical documentation for procedures and configurations.
Manage and monitor database environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Provision, configure, and maintain OCI and Exadata components.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Ensure database security, including user management and access control.
Monitor and optimize resource utilization in OCI and Exadata environments.
Perform patching, upgrades, and regular maintenance of database systems.
Provide support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
