Job Summary
The BaSE Supervisor protects UPS assets including buildings, equipment, and grounds. He/She supervises facility maintenance, housekeeping, environmental and labor compliance, safety, and HVAC / Conveyor system reliability.
What you’ll do
Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.
Organize and manage external contractors in carrying out ordinary and extraordinary on-site maintenance operations.
Manage, supervise and effectively roll out the UPS (preventive and corrective) maintenance action plan maintenance plans through the application system (carrying out activities like definition, analysis, control and improvement of KPIs).
Continuously improve our 360° maintenance activities – evaluating the services of external contractors, and finding the best technical and economic performers.
Coordinate all facility management activities that influence the management of our main buildings and related services.
Assists with maintaining environmental compliance in accordance with UPS environmental programs (e.g., Storm Water, Clean Air, Hazardous Materials, etc.) to promote the environment and health and safety of UPS employees and the surrounding community.
Delivers required regulatory training (e.g., Lockout Training/Hazmat Training) to BaSE and non-BaSE personnel as directed.
Manage documentation, SOP editing and record review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering - Preferred
Programming experience including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, motor control theory, and operation including basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
