Job Title: Production Technician
Job Description
The main function of a production technician is to support the Metrology scanning process.
Responsibilities
A Metrology Technician is responsible for performing precise measurements and calibrations to ensure equipment meets necessary standards and specifications. Here are some key duties and responsibilities for this role:
Perform precise measurements using metrology tools and equipment.
Calibrate, maintain, and repair metrology equipment and tools.
Document and report all measurement, calibration, and test results.
Identify and solve problems affecting measurement accuracy.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify measurement requirements.
Develop and maintain calibration processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures.
Train staff on the use of metrology equipment and procedures12.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of metrology principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Essential Skills
Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
Team player and detail-oriented.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.
High school diploma or GED required.
2 to 4 years of experience in machine operation, metrology, and data entry.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a runlist while operating machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong computer skills.
Leadership experience, such as being a lead or supervisor.
Experience with crafting, art, or ceramics is a plus.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to stay alert during long hours of repetitive tasks.

Work Environment
The work environment is an open lab where people work together. Employees must wear closed-toed shoes and gloves when working with the product. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70
