Robert Half is recruiting a Litigation Associate for our premier North Bay law firm client. This full-service business law firm has a friendly work environment, excellent base of local enterprise clientele, and handles cases in a variety of different practice areas (including transactional law matters). The firm is looking for an associate with 1++ year of civil litigation practice experience who is looking to build their skills as an advocate and counselor. The Associate should have foundational experience in handling discovery (taking and defending depositions is desired, but not required) and arguing pre-trial motions.

Further qualifications:

· Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California;

· Civil defense litigation practice experience is preferred, especially defending labor & employment claims;

· Good drafting, writing, research, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail;

· Demonstrated proficiency in oral advocacy on behalf of clients at hearings, mediation, trial, and arbitration.
