The Role
Senior Financial Analyst to support corporate finance and FP&A efforts working alongside senior leaders to execute and enhance the corporate cash planning processes. Analyst will gain significant exposure to all aspects of the solar industry, including capital planning, development, project financing and construction via the enhancement and maintenance of financial models, presentations and process flows. The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable first-hand experience by working directly with senior executives in a fast-paced industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Interact and communicate with all levels of management and be an integral team player
Prepare monthly cash and GAAP forecasts and communicate with leaders through deck presentations
Prepare variance analysis commentary and work in FP&A systems (Netsuite / Salesforce / SiteTracker) to build new reports
Support Investor reporting and communications
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis or modeling for new initiatives/projects
Design / redesign capital planning processes
Requirements:
Candidates must be highly motivated and show exceptional career progress to date. Candidates are required to be able to demonstrate:
3 - 5 years relevant work experience
Bachelors or equivalent undergraduate degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics/Business
Strong analytical skills, specifically with finance, accounting, and math
Proficiency with financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills
High proficiency with Excel required
High attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Solar/Renewable industry experience preferred
MBA preferred

Locations: Position will be based out of our Santa Monica office and will be on a hybrid in-office schedule
Compensation: The salary range for the position is $75,000-$100,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
